Soul Business (1)

I feel that revival for NFC is in the air. This Sunday’s scripture was from Matthew 19:14 and Proverbs 22:6. We found that God is into Soul Business. It is not about your looks, clothes, car, house, education, you get the picture. We need to get back to the basics (boot camp) and focus on God. It starts at the beginning and that is with our children. Somehow we must break the generational curse of self and focus on others first and let God take care of us. If we want to build a legacy with Jesus as our foundation it will be with our children and with faith (in a solid foundation) they will in turn pass it along to many generations. Train your children to respect your beliefs, start by involving them in the ordinances of our church. Water baptism, communion and feet washing. Explain it to them (thru scripture), experience it with them (by participation) and grow with them (as they mature) to teach it and pass it along.

Finally, remember what CHILD stands for. Hold these beliefs near to your heart.
C - Christ is the answer, I want my child to know what I know about Christ and what he has done for the both of us. He or she or blessed because of my experiences.
H - holiness is the key, the keeper of the faith and it seals you every step you take in maturing in the spirit.
I - instruction, finally reading the word for themselves, and finding strength in scripture that is fashioned after their personal walk with Christ.
L - love to venture out in Christ on their own, love themselves and loving one another spiritually. Lastly,
D - discipline, this is what every parent desires to see in their child, when they become the leaders, when they are determined to live holy because of sound beliefs and discipline.
