Let it Go and Move Forward

Bible Text: Philippians 2: 14-16 |

We were blessed to have another dynamic and anointed speaker. Evangelist Mary Page, was used of God to speak and bless the family of God from the following scriptures and testimony.

Scriptures- Philippians 2: 14-16; 3:7

Vs. 14- Do all things without murmurings and disputing:

Vs. 15- That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a cooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world;

Suppose one will not obey in working out his own Salvation. Will God continue to work when man refuses to permit Him?  One who will not use this power to work out his Salvation, will be held responsible.  All men possess the power but all do not use it.

Vs. 16- Holding forth the word of life; that I may rejoice in the day of Christ, that I have not run in vain, neither laboured in vain.

Philippians 3:7- But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ.

Apostle Paul is saying that of these advantages; the honor and respect which I held among the Jews, as well as my future with them, I counted loss for Christ.

Mother Page shared with us an event that happened at the airport in which the Spirit of God was speaking.  She said that when she arrived in Seattle about two years ago, it was snowing really badly.  She had reserved a rental car for her and her two grandsons to drive to Bremerton.  When she arrived at the car rental counter the agent asked her had she ever driven in snow and she answered, “No”.  She told him that she would just drive slow and was thinking on the inside ,"How hard will it be to drive in snow?"  He asked “If you’re in a spin out, which way would you turn the vehicle?”, and she gave the wrong answer. The agent told her “No” and that he couldn't rent the vehicle to her.  She insisted that she had reserved this vehicle!  But he continued to explain to her that he would not be able to rent the vehicle to her and that some of the roads to Bremerton were closed as well.

He then gave her directions to the Shuttle Bus to get her and grandson to Bremerton.

What do we do when God says, “No”?  Do we try to explain what we think is right? Do we start murmuring??  God loves us and always knows what is best for us.  If we pray, listen and obey for His directions; we will all make it in!
