Topic: From Ordinary Stones to Beautiful Jewels
We were blessed with a guest speaker Wendy Crenshaw on Sunday. In her message she gave us some wonderful nuggets.
We must know that God will take us from our raw state and turn us into precious jewels. Ordinary stones would normally be tossed aside and used for cobble. Inside of some of those stones, only known by a trained eye, are precious jewels. But work has to be put in to turn them into the precious jewels that they are. We must endure, knowing that the light afflictions are nothing compared to what is coming. We must humble ourselves. Be gentle, be kind, gracious and have self control because we are going to undergo a tremendous change. And above all, yield to the spirit (let the Spirit have its way). Amen
