Are You Available

This week’s power scripture comes from Isaiah 9:6-7. It tells us of the coming Christ child during turbulent times of Israel and Judah dealing with mistrust, betrayal and conspiracy. Even though Pekah king of Israel had an evil alliance with Rezin the Syrian king against Ahaz king of Judah, God still had a moment in time to announce the coming Savior. But what I like about this particular story is that God had someone who was available to do the announcing, Isaiah.
The question to us all, are you available? Stop looking at how bad the situation is knowing that God’s program will always go through if He uses you or not. If you decide that you can't heed to the call right now, you put your own spiritual progress on hold. Don't pass up your blessings when God decides to use you. Seasoned saints, with Holy boldness when they pray, ask God “What will you have me to do”? Don't be surprised if He puts a lot on your plate. Remember He will put no more on you, than you can bare.
